TITLE: MOULD IS POLITICAL PROJECTION

CLIENT: NEF

In 2024, I had the honor of producing a powerful video for NEF (New Economics Foundation), shedding light on the urgent issue of housing-related health crises. Meet Amaran, a dedicated pediatrician in South Yorkshire, whose journey uncovers a disturbing pattern: children’s health deteriorating due to mold and dampness in their homes. Through poignant interviews with healthcare workers and affected individuals, the film exposes the systemic failures within the housing sector, echoing a national crisis. As we delve into the political roots of the problem, we confront the stark reality: homes transformed into mere assets, neglecting their fundamental role in shaping our well-being.

Yet, amidst the frustration and despair, there’s a beacon of hope. Our message wasn’t confined to screens—it was projected onto the iconic Houses of Parliament, illuminating the heart of political discourse. From London to Manchester, voices united under the projection, demanding change. This isn’t just a documentary; it’s a rallying cry for justice and accountability. Join us in amplifying the message. Watch the video and join the movement at homesforus.org.uk. Because housing isn’t just a matter of shelter—it’s political.
